Giulia Scrimieri is a London-based costume designer for film, television, and stage. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, she has worked extensively as a costume designer, assistant designer, and costume supervisor.

As a costume designer, her film credits include indie productions such as The Bromley BoysBreakLove Me DoThe Stranger in Our Bed, and the interactive feature film Late Shift. She also served as the UK costume designer for Ip Man 4.

In dance, Giulia has collaborated on productions such as City of 1000 Trades (choreographed by Miguel Altunaga for the Birmingham Royal Ballet), The World’s Greatest Show, and Facade(choreographed by Arthur Pita). Her work with Alleyne Dance includes Bonded and Close to Home/Far from Home. Additional credits include collaborations with Antoine Marc (Arts & Movements), Takeshi Matsumoto (Club Origami), James Cousins (Epilogues), and Yukiko Masui (Falling Family).

Giulia has also designed costumes for dance videos such as Re-united (Alleyne Dance), Descent, and Remains (Antoine Marc), as well as Business is Brutal (directed by Jack Thompson for Random Acts). Her music video credits include projects for artists such as Ollie Murs, Pink Floyd, The Whip, and Dan Owen.

In commercials, she has worked with notable companies including Unit 9, Weilands, The Specialist Works, Partizan, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

As an assistant costume designer, Giulia has contributed to international Netflix series such as La Palma and Norsemen 3, as well as the Norwegian feature film La Elva Leve. She also served as the UK assistant costume designer for Frankie Drake 3.

In her role as a costume supervisor, Giulia has worked on projects such as Amazon Studio’s Three Bags Full, Netflix’s The Pentaverate, Apple TV’s The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, and the indie film Unicorns.

Additionally, Giulia has worked as a permanent daily in Spain for Game of Thrones Season 7 and as a costume buyer for Malory Towers (BBC iPlayer).

Giulia trained in Fashion Styling at Istituto Marangoni before joining the Motley Theatre Design postgraduate course, where she studied Costume and Set Design. She also holds a dance diploma from Birkbeck University.

Fluent in Italian (her native language), English, and Spanish, with basic proficiency in French, Giulia brings a multicultural perspective to her work. Beyond costume design, she has a deep passion for synchronized swimming and dance.
